My experience is similar to Phillip’s, but in my case its more to do with whether I’m regularly in the garden on fine autumn mornings or evenings, I suspect. I’m aware that this year, a few obs. of the Rose robin
have been made close by to where I am on the lower slopes of Black Mt.
