A very rich birding area this morning in light rain. I foudn the resident Hooded Robins (male, female and one immature) and the following spp in about half an hour:

Scarlet Robin (pair)
Diamond Firetail (small flock)
Red-browed Firetail (large flock)
Silvereyes (many, still westernensis)
Rufous Whistler (with dy)
White-eared Honeyeater
White-plumed Honeyeater
Sittellas (small flock with dy)
WTTC (immature bird)
White-throated Gerygone (heard)
Southern Whiteface (3, down nr the toilet block)
Eastern Spinebill
Weebill
Striated Pardalote
Grey Fantail
Willie Wagtail
Superb Fairywrens
Crimson Rosella
Eastern Rosella
Aus Raven
Galah
Welcome Swallows

By contrast I saw almost nothing on the western foreshores loop track except a few White-browed Scrubwrens and a few water bird spp (Coots, Cormorants, Black Duck)
