I have not been there for about 5 years I think (maybe once) but for the
previous at least 12 to 15 or so years I would go there a lot. That species was
a regular at that site. One time we found a female Hooded Robin stunned on the
road (maybe by collision with a car). I picked her up and held her till she
sort of looked more "perky" or just scared and then I placed her on a tree
where she sat and was gone an hour later. Have I told that story before?

Subject: Googong Dam, Hooded Robins
On Monday 14th March three of us did some birding at Googong Dam.
The highlight was a pair of Hooded Robins in the car-park above the
boat-launching sites.
