Coming back from our dog walk this morning a Painted Button-quail flushed from beside our drive. It is the first time I have recorded one in my GBS site since the COG WW in 2007.
When I went to relocate it, it flushed again before I could get a photo. However this did lead me to a flock of 6 Grey Fantails and 10 Brown-headed Honeyeaters feeding in the ribbons of
some planted Eucalyptus viminalis.
