Subject: | Lorikeets made me late for work |

Tuesday morning I was trying to get out the door to work when I heard, to my dismay, what sounded like a fair number of Rainbow Lorikeets in my backyard.. I stopped, however, as I thought some of the calls sounded 'softer' than the harsh Rainbow noise.
When I looked out the back I was amazed to see not one but THREE different species of lorikeets on the power lines! There were about 8-10 Rainbows, 3-4 Musk and a Scaly-breasted. I appreciate the Scaly was probably an escapee but I've only seen Musks after
experiencing neck strain trying to spot them at the top of large Eucalypts. Certainly never out in the open in my backyard.
WooI have attached a next to useless photo. This was in Giralang by the way.
