There was a group of about 8 White-winged Choughs fossicking on the front nature strip of the house on the corner of Toutcher and Wilkins Streets in Mawson this afternoon around 4.30.

As in not a garden area. The last of the group I noticed was careful to fly across at under a metre altitude specifically using the pedestrian crossing in front of a car. Actually it was the shortest route to the rest of its group but amusing anyway.
