This mixed camping/ accommodation visit will go ahead as planned with a select
group of 6 keen birders at this stage. As it just over an hour's travel away we
are planning to include a trip to Lake Wollumboola to check on waders in
addition to the nearby hotspot Meroo Lake.
Although it is realised that our calendar of interesting activities is full of
opportunities at this time of the year, including a pelagic and Wilandra N.P.,
this is a final call to enquire if anyone else would like to participate. It
could appeal to the less mobile as there abundant bird life right on your
doorstop, as it were, including most Illawarra honeyeaters and the occasional
monarch. Further details appear in Gang Gang. Give me a bell !
