The Paradise Shelduck departed some weeks ago.  Whether this of its own volition or if it was assisted by being inside a fox is not known.

The Hudwit was last reported on eBird on 18 January.

Hi Julie,
Yes they are Common Greenshanks.

Did you try looking for Hudsonian Godwit or Paradise Shelduck?

Or they are known to have gone already?

Tun Pin

Hi All,

I saw these three birds at Lake Wollumboola last weekend and, being fairly unfamiliar with coastal birds, was hoping someone could make an Id from these very distant and heavily cropped shots.

My best attempt would be Common Greenshank - they appeared a bit smaller than the godwits, long slightly up-curved bill, legs in flight appeared greenish/yellow, very white underneath and they stood quite tall. The three of them stayed together and regularly flew when we approached.
