Boobook in Ainslie

A few minutes ago (8.30 pm) a Boobook flew in and perched on the powerlines over our backgarden (Ainslie). It  flew down to the ground under a plum tree laden with ripe fruit (many fallen-brown rot infested).

It flew off when I approached to try to see what it was eating.
