Hi David
I think it would be really good if one of the regular COG meetings was devoted
to showing us how to use the various sites, and associated apps - and the
variety of data collections that members can participate in , including our
local COG initiatives .
I thought all the experienced birders were across these - but the recent
discussion on checklists, suggests that some are not familiar with electronic
entry ( assuming it can be done).
I have never participated in any of the collections of bird data and it's
probably about time I did!

Kind regards
Alison Turner

Hi, a fascinating update on eBird's growth and achievements:
http://ebird.org/content/ebird/news/resolution2016/

In my view, any birding organisation that has a commitment to collecting and
contributing bird data that researchers can use locally, nationally and
globally, that does not use eBird as its data collection and retrieval
platform, is missing the main game.

Regards - David
