Hi All,
As many of you would probably already be aware, Mr Joseph Michael
FORSHAW has been appointed as a Member in the General Division of the Order of Australia (AM) in today's Australia Day Honours.
Joe's award acknowledges his 'significant service to ornithology as an author and researcher, and as a contributor to a range of wildlife conservation organisations.'
I would like to thank Joe for his life long dedication to his work and congratulate him on a very well-deserved award.
I'm continually in awe of Joe's immense knowledge of birds, and and his willingness to answer my questions and share his experiences with me.
Regards
Julie
