Hi
Further to the report about the Fairy Martin tucking its legs behind its
feathers during flight, John Leonard reported Welcome Swallows tucking
their legs behind their feathers during flight. Attached to this post is
an image showing a Welcome Swallow with legs tucked away. The following
post has an image of a Welcome Swallow which has just landed and which
has its legs fully extended.
