When I studied the image it concerned me that this butterfly seemed to
have only four legs.
After all, it is masquerading as an insect.
Having consulted Dr Google, it seems that it actually has six legs but
that two of the legs are so tiny as not to be obvious.
I assume, therefore, that the Australian Painted Lady, belongs,
taxonomically, to the Nymphalidae - the brush-footed or four-footed
butterflies.
