Paid a chrissie visit to the powl this morning and it was easily found in the large pin oak just behind the shed, happily shredding the remains of what looked like a large white cockatoo - sulphur crested or corella. It was a gory sight as the bloody
corpse was ripped and swallowed. Powl even ate the feathers. By the time we left it was down to the claws of the cockatoo, then appeared to be resting after its feast.
