We started by driving past the former Banded Lapwing site which was devoid of that species as far as we could see.  Going by Mills Cross we observed 9 Cattle Egrets.  4 Plumed Whistling Ducks were on Trucking Yard Lane Dam and none on the other dams as far we could see.

Our target bit of private property had a good mix of Brittle Gum woodland and grassland recording 30 species with a range of Summer migrants including Olive-backed Oriole and Sacred Kingfisher.
