A couple of days ago I was getting my bike out of the garage when I heard a sort of subsong coming out of a tree in our front yard. It was a rattling, varied sort of subsong and it contained mimicry of Magpie and Pied Currawong. I assumed it was a Satin Bowerbird, but it didn't seem powerful enough. When I checked the singer was a female King Parrot!
