That is funny, unless someone is planning that as a specific study of the birds or the ribbons only come in blue, maybe the staff should be advised not to use blue ribbons..........

 

For what it is worth, the female SBB was ON the nest at Pine Island today (as were the others except the Magpie chicks have left the nest).

In case anyone is interested, there is a beautiful bower in the Botanical Gardens, complete with all the blue plastic ribbons which were used to mark certain trees ans shrubs.
