Reported here out of interest, rather than as a definite sighting: a work colleague told me today that he had seen a small group of Turquoise Parrots feeding on capeweed near his house in Watson.  He is familiar the species from northern Victoria, and described the birds, 6 in number, as smaller than Red-rumped Parrots, more yellow-green, and without a visible red rump.  He wasn’t aware that Turquoise Parrots were unusual in Canberra.
