Wandered around Stony Creek reserve this morning. Only one dollarbird seen. Two mistletoe birds, both male. Lots of rainbow bee-eaters around. More than I’ve seen before. Also a flock of two dozen yellow-tailed black cockies feeding in the casuarinas. Sparrowhawk on nest near car park.

Popped in to RUC Turner for a refreshing ale after the walk and checked on Powl. In pinoak behind greenkeeper’s building, holding a ringtail.
