Just a little hint, if Leaden Flycatchers are nesting, generally you would be more likely to find it by following the birds. The nest itself is small and well camouflaged. The pair I have been watching are quite noisy, calling whilst sitting on the nest and especially on approach or when making changes as to nest duty.

I love Eastern Rosellas, but there's something about Superb Parrots that makes it feel more ... summery. Yeah I know summer is still a few weeks away ...

Five Superbs in The Pinnacle this evening mingling with some Easterns up the north end of Central track.

A male + female pair of Leaden Flycatchers down the west corner of the Dam Paddock on the Valley track harassing a sole Noisy Friarbird who couldn't care less. I didn't see a nest in the tree but it's a very gnarly tree.

I heard at least another Flycatcher within a hundred metres.
