I am asking again for help with information on the turtles at Jerra Wetlands from the birdwatchers. As you collectively spend a lot more time than I do at the wetlands I would be grateful if you could pass on any sightings of turtle nesting and any juvenile turtles – even if that is a photo of one in an egrets bill. We have put up a section of electric fence in part of the main nesting area near the office to trial whether turtles will go under the wires but foxes stay out.
