Hi Julie,

Well yes it is a Horsfield's Bronze-Cuckoo but from that, it looks like an adult to me. As for being fed (I think) by a yellow-faced honeyeater well that is not in the photos so up to you and what you saw but surely it is very early in the year for that.

Hi All,

Jill and I had visited Tharwa Sandwash this morning and were entertained by about 6 rainbow bee-eaters for a considerable period of time. They were also pretty co-operative, so I managed some nice photos (I'm sure Jill will have brilliant ones!!)

Also, I believe we saw perhaps a young Horsfield's Bronze-Cuckoo (a new bird for me) being fed (I think) by a yellow-faced honeyeater. Confirmation or otherwise would be appreciated. Photos taken from a long distance so quite poor.

Cheers

Julie
