controlled burns at Jerra Wetlands Friday

ACT Parks is planning to undertake 4 small burns at Jerrabomberra Wetlands on Friday. They are all near Kellys Swamp and are for ecological reasons rather than fuel reduction.

 

There will be some short term closures of walking tracks while each burn is undertaken. Burning unlikely to commence until mid to late morning.

 

If interested in details of what we are doing and why then interrogate me on site one day.
