Subject: | Advice Sought - Birding in Griffith, NSW & other .. |

Hi All,
I will be passing through Griffith next week (on the way to Adelaide) and should have a few hours to do some birdwatching.
I was wondering if anyone could offer suggestions as to locations fairly close to town where I might have a chance of seeing birds not found in Canberra ... especially some Major Mitchell's.
I know a couple of people have mentioned the airport to me in the past, but more detailed information would really be appreciated.
On the return trip I'm keen to have a similar stop about 5 hours east of Adelaide. Any suggestions as to location and likely birds would be most welcome!!
Cheers
Julie
