Just back from a very successful weekend of banding at The Charcoal Tank Nature Reserve near West Wyalong. Rainbow Bee-eaters arrived there today but didn’t stay for long so they won’t be far off in the local area, and there was a large mixed flock of (mostly) White-browed, and some Masked Woodswallows, around for a couple of days so they also could potentially arrive locally soon.
