The husband of a friend of mine in Juwin St Aranda regularly feeds 6+ Rainbow Lorikeets on sunflower seeds. I thought RLs were nectar and fruit feeders. I wonder if they eat baby birds of other species?

Two Rainbow Lorrikeets seen feeding in a flowering gum across the back fence in Araba St Aranda, this morning.
