Large Silvereye feeding flock

Apropos my post about Crimson Rosellas raiding the apricot blossoms, at 14:30 today I counted 35 Silvereyes working through the branches before giving up so, at a conservative estimate, I believe there were at least 45 birds present. Not uncommon to see a few Silvereyes gleaning the blossoms on our flowering plums on any calm, sunny spring  day but 45-plus is, in my experience, an unusually large number.

At the Holt Oval carpark I saw someone feeding bread to the omnipresent Noisy Miners, and the Miners readily accepted the farinaceous food source.
