At least 12 Rose Robins along a 200 metre stretch of the western slopes of Mt Ainslie yesterday afternoon, have never seen so many in one place. Also in the area at least 6 Golden Whistlers and 10+ Grey Fantails, perhaps all part of the same migrating group. At least 3 of the fantails were decidedly darker than others, perhaps the Tasmanian race albiscapa.

Painted Button-quail platelets were also seen but no quail.
