Subject: | Banded Lapwing and White-fronted Chats |

It being a beautiful Spring afternoon I fired up the treadlie and pointed it in the general direction of Hoskinstown. At the appointed spot I was only able to spot a single Banded Lapwing.
However the small bull had been providing plenty of cover for others to lurk, undetectably, behind. I counted a maximum of 5 White-fronted Chats: as this was 4 males and 1 female I suspect there were others (specifically females) present, undertaking nidiferous
activities.
