There will be no further action on this without reference to the Iconic Species Working Group, Division of Tourist/Fauna Interfacing

Maybe the ACT Govt could organise a permanent display specimen on the site.  I reckon most of the fat Salties on the mud banks of the Daintree River are fibreglass models.

Good morning all,

Has anyone been to check out if the Powl is still in situ at the bowling club in Turner? I have a visitor from WA who I will be taking birding on Saturday and although he has seen the species, would appreciate another look. I also have a Canadian birder to take around on his first trip to Oz later this month and the owl would be a bonus.

Thanks,

Mark
