Some time ago a visitor asked about obtaining a YTBC feather.  There was debate about the wisdom of taking a feather out of Australia and a paucity of the feathers in the first place. Yesterday my son picked this one up. It's photographed on an A4 sheet and beside a 50 cent coin for perspective. It was on the ground in the old travelling stock route remnant adjacent to the western edge of Uriarra Village. The YTBCs rest there or roost there most days. This one was probably dropped on the weekend as it doesn't look as though it has suffered from the wet and muddy weather. If anyone would like it I'd be happy to post it. If there are no takers I'll give it to Helen Fitzgerald for her painting birds in watercolour course which starts in a couple of weeks.
