Thirteen there this morning, below is the location map, co-ords -35.2747531,149.4389051, it is an eBird hotspot.
Disappointingly, there were about 15 Common Mynas at the Trucking Yard Lane dam, by far the largest group/flock that I have seen in the Bungendore area.
And a Silver Gull appears to be nesting at the Bungendore Sewage Treatment Plant.
The Southern Harvest Farmers' Market
http://www.southernharvest.net.au/market.aspx is held at the Bungendore Memorial Hall on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month. 'Our ethos: The Southern Harvest
Farmers Market encourages a sense of community, connection and sharing of ideas. It aspires to build a resilient local food economy through regenerative farming, zero waste and a fair food system.'
What about popping out to Bungendore next month to visit the market, buy some delicious local produce there, and check out the local waterbirds at the same time?
Regards - David
