Kym,

 

I have forwarded the photo of the banded gull, specially the one that shows the number, to . Could you please let them know the details of when and where you saw this bird. They should be able to tell you when and where it was banded, how long ago it was banded and how far, if any, it had moved. There is a study of a nesting colony of Silver Gulls on an island in the western section of Lake Burley Griffin being undertaken at present.

I was reading somewhere today about a project being under taken of tagging silver gulls at  Lake Burley Griffin

 

If you came across one to contact them  does anyone have the contact info it was NOT  at  Lake Burley Griffin
