Six YTBCs in pines on Isaacs Ridge, 3.30 this afternoon.

At least 5 Banded lapwings this morning, 11.00-11.30, at the Hoskinstown site, some within 40 m. of the road. One which did not move in the time I was there may have been sitting on eggs, or is it too early in the season for that? Also Aust. pipits, skylark singing, 2 WF chats, 4+ Flame robins.

There were several YTBC munching on pines at the Arboretum this afternoon (Map 76). At least 5 flame robins sitting on stakes in the Jelly Palm section (Map 59). Possibly a few more further down the slope.

Cheers
Phil

A large flock exceeding 25, possibly up to 50 yellow-tailed black cockatoos spent their morning today on the west side of Fadden including the pond and on the adjacent fringes of Wanniassa Hills. Watching them wheeling above was a magnificent sight.
