The Turner Powerful Owl was yesterday in a Radiata Pine S of the one it's been
in since the Pin oaks lost their leaves, i.e. coniferous row 4 S of the sheds.
Five observers were there over the course of half an hour in late arvo. No prey
evident. Alison Rowell remarked on how short the tail feathers were: one right
tail feather appeared to be about 2-3 cm longer than the others.
