This morning a whirlwind of about 15 Eastern Rosellas sashayed across our yard landing in trees as they went, chattering and scolding like a parliament of affronted owls reacting to the news that a currawong warlord had won the Nobel Peace Prize. All appeared to be adults, couldn’t make out any immatures.

So what’s afoot (afeather?), or is it just rosellas reacting to the fires of forthcoming spring?
