Hi Stephanie. I'm not near to you, but i also saw one streak across my backyard in Wanniassa at 10am yesterday. First time i've seen one in my yard (i've lived here for 3 years). Sounds like the foxes were holding a co-ordinated event across Canberra yesterday.

Cheers, Jo

This morning at 10 I caught this fox relaxing in our yard, over the road from Mt Ainslie. We know they come here a lot at night, and we see them often on the hill, but this is the first time I've seen one in our garden during the day. We have a lot of suburban rabbits now, which have invaded from the reserve and must be an attraction. Of course, as soon as I went outside, it took off and disappeared in the direction of the reserve, trailing a crowd of angry avian defenders.
