I followed a very healthy fox in broad daylight recently which was using the new boardwalk to skirt around the swamp. It's not the first time I've seen one in the area recently.

I was at Kelly's yesterday at about 3.30pm, at Bittern hide.  There was aswan feeding and about 10 purple swamp hens between the hide and the water.  A fox trotted past.  All the birds flew

What is being done to eliminate the foxes there?  A couple of weeks ago, in front of the new viewing place, we also saw a fox.  Soon the water birds will be nesting-lots of food for foxes
