You have just two weeks left to make a tax deductable donation to the Canberra Birds Conservation Fund (CBCF)!
The environmental objectives of the Fund, as set out in COG’s constitution and approved by the Commonwealth Government, are
- To encourage interest in, and develop knowledge of, the birds of the Canberra region
- To promote and co-ordinate the study of birds and
- To promote the conservation of native birds and their habitats.
Details about the Fund, including how to donate, how to apply for a grant, and the projects supported to date, are online at http://canberrabirds.org.au/conservation-2/conservation/ .
You have just two weeks left this financial year to make your tax deductable donation to the Fund. It is a great time to do so, as the Fund’s Committee of Management expects to receive two new grant applications over the next few weeks, but has already granted
out most of the funds received so far this financial year.
Many thanks to those who have already donated to the Fund this year, your donations have made really worthwhile contributions to achieving the Fund’s, and COG’s, environmental objectives. If you have not yet made a donation this year, please do so by 30 June.
With thanks.
