Two light morph Little Eagles, one female Brown Goshawk harrassed by
both magpies and B-s K, Black-shouldered Kites (copulating vociferously
to the delight of assembled photographers). The Shovelers are still
about in numbers; 3 Freckled Duck; Black Duck behaving aggressively
towards other Black Duck. Pink-eared Duck behaving aggressively towards
Pink-eared Duck. Pluse3 Pelicans. Purple Swamphens common; a single
White-faced Heron, two Black Swan, a solitary Coot, two Straw-necked
Ibis, a flock of Rock Doves and multifarious Common Starlings flying to
and fro their large communal roost on the powerlines. Small numbers of
Galahs, Sulphur-cresteds overhead. Three Yellow-tailed Cockatoos
reported for yesterday. Four Black-faced Cuckoo Shrike observed at JWNR
the day before that.
