Nice, I spent the afternoon mapping the Hall Horse Paddocks for OpenStreetMap but might walk up One Tree Hill next, haven't been up there before. I saw a couple of Scarlet Robins and a sizeable flock of what I assume were Yellow-rumped Thornbills though I didn't have my binoculars as it was hard enough wrangling my dog, a clipboard and GPS.

On the approach to the actual One Tree Hill lookout there were two Diamond Firetails and a pair of Scarlet Robins. They were foraging around the base of a smaller eucalypt and only 30m from a party of 15 walkers taking a break at the Lookout at about 10.45 on Monday 8th June.
This section of the Centennial trail is very worthwhile for naturalists. And it shows with full horror how essential is the work of the Conservation Council in preserving open spaces, grassland and woody grassland from encroaching development.
