In very windy conditions:

Seen from the road into Kellys Swamp – 1 Swamp Harrier over open grassland heading towards the car yards.

Seem from the cycle path opposite Duntroon – hassled by Magpies – 1 pale Little Eagle.

To the right of the highway overpassing Fyshwick – 1 Whistling Kite.

Seen from Hindmarsh Drive over Isaacs pond – 1 Wedge-tailed Eagle harassed by Magpies.

Also pleasing to see Pink-eared Ducks, about 18 Shovelers, 1 Freckled Duck, Australasian and Hoary-headed Grebe – lots of gorgeous Purple Swamp Hens and the more common residents at the wetlands.
