Late yesterday I did a loop through Little Mulligan's Flat. Between 4 and 4.30.pm I counted 67 White-winged Choughs, a lot more than usually seem to be there. On the slopes were a 10, then an 11 and around the two dams and towards the lower car park a a cluster of groups that numbered 46.   I thought that some had come from outside LMF to get shelter from the gusty conditions. How common are these aggregations?
