I went down to Point Hut Pond today. I was quite impressed, with highlights being 6 Australasian Darters (1m, 5f), 9 Little black Cormorants, 9 Little-Pied Cormorants, 1 Great Cormorant, and 5 Cattle Egrets (non-breeding plumage), all on the island at the southern tip of the lake. Also present was a pelican, straw-necked ibis, and 2 Yellow-tailed black cockatoos flew over.

Also notable was the presence of 2 pink-eared ducks on the farm dam along Point Hut Rd (-35.454628, 149.074797)
