Probably more than 1000 seen altogether flying over the 15^th, 16^th,17^th and 18^th fairways, to my delight and my golf partners – this was 11.15am. We surmised that the birds might be flying to escape from the extensive smoke due to burning off on the Bullen Range. Weather conditions were warm clear and calm over the course.
