We were at Angle Crossing for a short time (15 mins) this morning at about 10.30.  We saw about 20 YFHE there, but not the large flocks others have seen.  While there we also saw a wedge-tailed eagle soaring above the ridge on the far side of the river.

Numbers of small flocks of YFHE flying along  Ginninderra Creek between Percival Hill and Gundaroo Drive. Several flocks of about 20 in number every day this week. A whole flock roosting in the Eucalypts near the Creek here at Kangaroo Close descended noisily to drink from my bird bath a few days ago. All flocks have kept flying North-east  My impression is that they are following, not so much the creek itself, but the green corridor which runs north east from Lake Ginninderra to Mulligans flat. I would not be surprised if the tracking program reveals a preference fro travelling via such open space corridors where there are trees

At around 2pm we counted over 60 flying over us in Amaroo, heading east in the general direction of Mulligan's Flat.

At 11am this morning we headed down the Monaro H'way and turned into Lanyon Drive, where we stopped shortly after the corner.  We immediately saw large flocks of hes flying over, coming from the west. Then we turned into right into Sheppard St (Fyshwick).  Honeyeaters  were flying across that road.  On out to Jerrabomberra, Bayside Drive, close to Lindsay's place.  Well there, we saw hundreds flying over.  They were in broad flocks and difficult to count.  Lindsay had counted 720 in 20 minutes on Wednesday.  I must ask him to count again.  There would have been thousands over a 2--3 hour period

We are interested in seeing where they fly from Jerrabomberra, so went out on the Cooma Road and stopped near the quarry.  We saw one flock fly over, but we were not there for long.

Others have reported the hes flying near their homes.  Could you put the exact address please?  We like to plot the movement.  I wonder whether they are flying across Angle Crossing this year, and then south of Williamsdale
