Subject: [canberrabirds] More news on Turner the powerful owl
After spending several hours this afternoon with diverse enthusiasts, including the Dabb , looking at instant photos then, and now later this evening, let me be the first to claim that this could be a different bird. The talons appear much different in today 's bird, brighter orange in colour. Admittedly my photos are from a basic digital camera taken over the last four months but if I compare earlier ones with today's I can discern a definite difference. Definitely the most photographed bird ever in the ACT surely those with copious information stored in memory banks could evaluate this claim. With great interest I now await a flood of feedback. T2
