Below is a message from the Conservation council which is commended to you by the COG Committee:



Dear COG supporter

I encourage you to take part in the Conservation Council Being an
Effective Voice for the Environment: Connecting with the Community
Symposium. Saturday 28 March 9am - 4pm, at the ANU Commons, Lena Karmel
Lodge.



The feedback from participants last year was incredibly positive. It was
stimulating,  great skill-sharing and a wonderful networking event.  This
year promises to be more of the same.



Keynote speaker is Kelly O'Shanassy, Chief Executive Officer, Australian
Conservation Foundation. She will then be part of a Question and Answer
Panel on "Being an Effective Voice for the Environment" with David
Pembroke, Director, Content Group, Alex White, Secretary Unions ACT and
others.



Tickets are $55 member groups, students, concession. Others $65.

I think this is something that some members might be interested in, but if its sent around the chatline,  I would prefer this be done officially, eg through the Secretary.
