Hi Just lately here in downtown Ulladulla there has been a small number of G Cormorant with a substantial white streaky patch from the back of cheek down the neck. This is not fine indistinct streaking but highly visible along with, which seems to me , a larger white breeding patch on the flank. I've looked at some of the Images of G Cormorants on the web but none of the snaps which look like it seem to be from OZ . Neither me or some of the others have never ever noticed this before on GCs before so the question is. Is this unusual or is it that my memory going the same way as my eyesight ? or is it even an invasion of mutant GCs . Geoffry !!!??? Bob |
