On the way from Duffy – 1 Common Bronzewing perched on Burrinjuck street lamp post! 

 

Two Black-shouldered Kite in what appeared to be mortal combat over grassland near lower Streeton Drive – chasing and then tallons clashing with one bird upside down. 1 Bowerbird, 1 Bearded Dragon in the creek, approximately 20 Welcome Swallow with what appeared to be young birds.

 

Weston Ponds – only 1 Pink-eared Duck this time, 1 Hardhead, 15 Hoary-headed Grebe,72 Wood Duck,  Black-fronted Dotterel, 5 Sacred Ibis, 1 White-faced Heron to name a few.

 

Molongolo cycle track and the western side of the river as far as the crossing below the Equestrian Centre:

3 Dollarbird

3 Golden-headed Cisticola (DY)

Young Little Pied Cormorant (about 13 and DY) and 7 Darter ( also young birds) on the Western Side of the river in nesting regions

At least 30 Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoo in the Pine forest on the ground and in trees with unknown number of dependent young.

1 Wedge-tailed Eagle

Less cover for small birds following extensive spraying of Blackberry
